Default 1918 Axial Fokker D VII propeller

Welp finally found a mill with sufficient black walnut and maple logs to be able to cut boards 10" wide and 10' long. I should be picking up the lumber in the next month and start building this Spring. I ordered enough wood for two blades. These will be functional blades as I am building a full sized D VII as well.

Merry Christmas all
Jim

Best Wishes for the new year again, Jim!

And yes, please post photographs of your progress in making the props for your Fok D.VII. It will be most interesting for us.

And best wishes to all our members for 2018.

With kind regards,

Bob

PM Dec,

Thank you for showing us this early Egyptian hieroglyphic. Beautifully done! Perhaps you should contact Maat and ask him if he would be our honorary God of whirling wooden propellers.

With kind regards,

Bob
