Default FOR SALE - 1912 Blackburn Monoplane Propeller

Hi,

I was left this 104 year old propeller by a family friend (Len) who was a gunner in the second world war.

It was presented to him by the Shuttleworth Collection as a thankyou for charity work as you can see from the newspaper article (link below).

I have owned it for 10 years now and have nowhere to display it so I thought I would put it up for sale and see if there is any interest.

I originally posted on the forum when I got the Propeller for an estimated value for insurance purposes so you can find all of the photo's and information here if you are interested.

I would be open to sensible offers and am willing to ship.

The item is currently located in the North West of England.

Thanks for looking,

Dave

Hi,

I am open to sensible offers but have been advised (on the original post) that it could be worth in the region of 2500!

I have also had it value with a view to placing in early aviation auction in November and the suggested reserve was 1500.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi,
Could you post close up pics of all the 4 sides of the hub?
And tell what is the thickness of the hub and the diameter of the central bore?
Regards,
PM
