Default Prop ID needed for the Great American Propeller Company (Not from Baltimore)

Hi,

I came across this site trying to research a laminated propeller I just acquired. I am hoping someone here could tell me a bit more about it and possibly a value range. I provided a pic of the decal that is on the blade and, as you can see, the decal shows CA as the state and not MD or DC. Most of the research I have been able to find shows a company with a similar name in MD, but I was able to find one piece of info that there was a company of the same name in CA.

The gentlemen I received this from is 80 yrs old and said that he had bought it about 50 years ago, but was not certain if it was ever on a plane. It does have "not airworthy" on it, but could that have been added after it was used for test and then stamped before sale?

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Joel
