Is that a decal on the left blade or just a trick of the light?

Metal sheathing on an early British prop indicates either that it was a seaplane or that it was a pusher, like the DH2. The aim was the same in both cases, to protect the blade from FOD thrown up by the wheels or the floats. I suppose it also helped with empty rounds, maps, pencils and the pilot's sandwiches.

This is my DH2 four bladed prop with DMD decals.
