  • Propeller identification.

    Hi All,

I am a newbie to this forum & the world of wooden propellers as I have just bought my first prop! I am not ashamed to admit I know very little, but I am keen to find out more, so was wondering if anybody could help me identify my new purchase?

I have looked through the lists of manufacturers & drawing numbers on this great site, but can't find a match.

Markings on the prop are as follows: KF 5366UL-S2-Sp.LE
I know that "53" refers to the overall dia & "66" refers to the pitch but that's all I can figure out, I have attached a couple of pics if that helps.

    Thanks in advance, Clayton.

The number sequence certainly doesn't look familiar, and if it is in fact 53 inches long it's a bit small for any of the common certificated aircraft.

Could the "UL" refer to ultralight? I don't know.

yeah, I suppose that would make sense, it's not very large as props go! I would like to find out who the manufacturer was but i guess it's not that easy.
