  • Bob Gardner's latest book

A note to let friends and forumites know that Part Two of my series on German Propellers of WW1 has just been printed and arrived today. We'll have it for sale on my website in a few days time. It covers makers from Geest to LZ, both of whom are minority makers of which few will have heard. The major makers covered are:
    Germania
    Gotha
    Halberstadter
    Heine
    Helix
    Integrale
    Imperial
and the props made by the brothers Niendorf in Luckenwalde, south of Berlin.

This forum has provided me with much data and photographs for which my thanks are due to Dave, the founder.

I shall finish writing part three in the winter months when depression after depression gives us a cloud base of about 100ft, so it might be available in the spring of 2015.

I plan then to publish two CD's containing the data I have gathered on both British and German WW1 propellers, of which I have 2000 and 1040 records respectively.

    With kind regards,

    Bob
