  • Another Flottorp Question

I have a Flottorp Propeller, model 30.19 serial 3570 manufactured by Kinetics Inc. in Britt IA. I think this is just a prop used on a gas fan to inflate balloons but any other info would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Flottorp Identification

    Bret.
You are on the right track. Flottorp desiged and made small engine propellers to fit 3-20hp engines such as Briggs & Stratton, Onan, Honda, Tecumseh, Hirth and more. A 30-19 was used mainly for the 5hp Briggs & Stratton and the Tecumseh engines. It probably was used for a ballon inflator but could have been used in other applications. Kinetics owed the Flottorp propeller line for a short time and I am not sure they actually manufactured anything. Again - history on Flottorp is very hard to come by.
    I hope this helps.
