  • Identify old propeller

I have a wood propeller with metal edges wrapped, no markens, 6 bolt holes 1/2", center hole 2 1/4", hub thickness 3/3/4", 8ft in lenght, and dark wood. Metal seems to be of sheet metal nature and wraps around bottom edge 24" and comes arond the top 14". The blade looks like the Curtiss JN4H. I was told it possibly was off a Jenny engine.

    Thank You
    Joe

"Possibly" is what makes the statement correct. There are perhaps hundreds of other possibilities, however, and without markings it's nearly impossible to know. The hub dimensions give you a clue about the engine. Click on the propeller icon above and go to the "Identification" link for details.
