    Chauviere Blade valuation

    A friend of mine has an early Chauviere blade possibly from a DH1 or as used with the Anzani engine circa 1915. As this is not our area can anyone say if this has any real value. It is such a shame that it has been cut off the boss but the blade itself is in original condition showing use marks etc and the Chauviere decal is visible. Any help at all would be appreciated.

    Single blades not that valuable, but certainly not junk. One problem is that it can no longer be identified with the hub stamping missing, so it's a WILD guess what it may have been used on. With a well presevered decal I would expect it to be worth something in the $150 to $350 range, but that's also a wild guess.

      Many thanks Dave I will pass on the info, on this blade the decal is very visible so that may help.
