  • Need help identifying Modern Prop, Fahlin MO

this is a modern wooden propeller, the numbers on it say as follows

    FAHLIN D-512
    NO 3083 HP 90
    RPM 2025
    EM 2-17

    problems reading R in RPM
    the "25" in 2025
Not sure if the last line is an E or B for the first letter

The Back side of the prop reads JT 405, below that reads 512 -

The propeller has 8 holes around the center hole and has brass plating on wings of propeller tips continues plating down thick side of prop wing ending around middle of prop wing. I know that may be diffucult to understand my info on the brass plating but hopefully it will help.

Mainly wanted any information that anyone may have on this propeller, if anyone has or knows of what the bolts looked like that mounted this prop. This is my Great grandfathers propeller and i am going to mount it up on my wall. I want the prop to look like it did at the front of the aircraft with the certian bolts and washers. any info on where i could also purchase the bolts and necessities that i will need would be greatly appreciated,

You'll find info on your prop here: www.modernwoodenpropellers.com/fahlin.htm by the design number D-512.

In order to use bolts authentically you'll need a metal hub to fit the prop. The hub may be extremely hard to find and actually cost more than the prop. This is an example of a metal hub mounted to a wooden prop with correct castellated nuts: www.flickr.com/photos/farlane/2777113797/
