  • Need information of the value of this propeller

I have this propeller, I know it is from War World 1 but I don't know the value of it and I would like to get some help. It is a wooden propeller and has a number on it 2373. Thanks in advance for all your help. Mimi

If those are the only numbers stamped on it, it's going to be very hard to identify it and equally hard to determine an accurate value.

      more information about my propeller

I do have the diameter of the hub: 10" - Hub thickness: 7 1/8" - Bolt hole circle is 8". Could this be a Liberty 12?
      Thanks again for your help

That's certainly the most likely possibility, but it also makes identification of the aircraft very difficult and many different types used that engine.

if it is a Liberty 12

          Dave,
Could you tell me if actually this propeller belong to the Liberty 12, how much is it value? I just want to have an idea. I have somebody that wants to buy it but I want to make sure I'm giving him a fair price.
Tomorrow, I will take a look again to my propeller and I will check if I can see more numbers on it.
Again thank you so much for your time

No, not really. That's a Bureau of Aircraft Production number, but the RPM is consistent with a Liberty engine also.

Value is hard to determine, especially without seeing its actual condition, and photographs can be tough to interpret. Having said that, I would guess that if you were to put it on eBay today with no reserve, it likely would sell for something "around" $1000.
