It's obviously from a DeHavilland ("Airco") DH9 aircraft with the Siddeley 200HP engine, which narrows it down probably as far as you can go. You will almost never find a specific airplane that it was used on, any more than you will find a specific automobile car that a tire went to, but just knowing the make and model of the aircraft is a big win in the identification puzzle.

Here is a similar propeller, although note that the drawing number is different. I can probably find your drawing number in my database, but I won't have access to that for a couple of days. It won't change much, however.
