I have been looking for a Stone Supreme prop manufactured in Wichita Kansas and ran across an interesting example. It is labeled "Stone Propeller Company – Supreme Mfd. Wichita, Kansas, USA’. There is a part number, ‘Part 41-K-5166’, and the information ‘S-5042’. This propeller measures 85″ wide.
From what I have learned so far, it appears to be an early 1941 military contract that does not show up on the contract table on woodenpropellers.com. Given the cut off blunt ends, It appears to be a "club" test prop & not a flightworthy prop. Does anyone have any insight about this article & an estimated value?
