  • Help identify wood propeller

    I obtained this wood propeller from my grandmothers garage about 10 years which was located in Mamaroneck, New York. Any help identify it would be greatly appreciated. I have attached pictures.

    There's not much to go on there, and I don't think it's anything that would have had its own patent (unless it was something novel about the metal sheathing), since the general design was common at that time. I'd start with carefully measuring the hub dimensions then use the linked chart on that page to eliminate engine possibilities. There were hundreds and hundreds of different models of propellers in the 1920s, and many of them look the same.
