Comments: German built propeller for the D.F.W.  model CV, using the N.A.G. 185 HP engine (N.A.G = National Automobil-Gesellschaft AG, Berlin)  Manufacturer probably A.Steininger & Co. (St.&C.)  This large propeller retains the original metal hub assembly.  Because of the destruction of war materials as part of the German surrender in WW1, original German propellers like this are rare and extremely hard to find.  Many that have survived are difficult to identify due to lack of stamped information about actual aircraft usage.
